.For use with ABS plastic pipe & fittings;
.Irrigation;Natural Gas pipe; Condult for use in sewer, portable water, drain,waste,and vent systems;
.Meets ASTM D-2564;
.Directions for use: Store and us at temperatures between 40 and 100.Stir or shake before using;if "jelly-like"don't use.1.Square pipe ends and remove all burrs and dirt;2.Check dry fit of pipe and fitting.Pipe should easily go 1/3 of the way in.If pipe bottoms,it should be snug;3.Clean pipe and fitting with purple primer or an IAPMO listed primer;4.When solvent welding at temperatures below 40 or above 85,consult data sheet;5.When solvent pipe over 3",recommended applicator is a natural bristle brush one-half the pipe diameter,i.e., 3" brush for a 6" pipe;6.Apply tin coat of cement to fitting;avoid pudding inside.Make certain the entire socket surface is covered.Be especially carefully not to "overcoat" thin wall,or bell end pipe;7.Apply liberal cost of cement to pipe to the depth of the socket;leave no void;8.Assemble parts QUICKLY! CEMENT MUST BE FLUID.If not fluid, recoat both parts;9.Push pipe FULLY into fitting using a 1/4 turning motion until pipe bottoms; 10.Hold pipe and fitting together for 30 seconds.Wipe off excess with cloth.Complete joints should not be disturbed until they have cured sufficiently to withstanding handling;11.Keep container closed when not to use;12.Don't pressure test until cement is fully cured.
.HAZARDOUS INGREDIENTS:Methyl Ethyl Ketone,Dimethyl Kelone, Ethyl Acetate, and ABS Resin. Store in a cool,dry, well-ventilated place. Extinguish all flames and pilot lights and turn off stoves,heaters,electric motors, and other sources of ignition during use and until all vapors are gone.Open windows and doors-use only with adequate ventilation. Wear impervious clothing while handling. Don't smoke,eat, or drink while handling. Wash thoroughly after handling and before eating. Use eye protection while handling. If swallowed, drink water. DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING;call a physician or poison control center immediately.If inhaled,get fresh air and seek medical attention if still feelings persist. In case of eye and skin contact,immediately flush with plenty of water for 15 minutes and seek medical attention if irritation persists.Obtain copy of MSDS from distributor.KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
